從8月14日起，每人可領2個觀日食眼鏡。華埠圖書館還舉行觀日全食派對。有天文望遠鏡觀看日全食。38年難得一見的奇觀，歡迎各位光臨。

On Monday, August 21, a solar eclipse will be visible in the sky to the entirety of North America for the first time since 1979. CPL will distribute solar eclipse viewing glasses at all branches on a first-come first-served from August 14th. Adult and teen patrons can receive up to 2 pairs of glasses per person. Just ask at the branch’s circulation desk. Select branches will host viewing parties, and you will have the opportunity to view the eclipse through a telescope at the following branches: Chinatown, Richard M. Daley, Dunning, Humboldt Park, North Austin, Sherman Park, Sulzer Regional.
