Murder Cases In Texas Keep Happening
A shocking shooting occurred in Allen, Texas, near Dallas last Saturday killing eight people and injuring seven others. The suspect was killed by police in a gunfight.
According to the police record, the killer joined the army in June 2008 and was forcibly discharged by the army three months later.
On Capitol Hill, lawyers held a meeting after the shooting and discussed how to ban the continued abuse of firearms and strengthen legislation on gun control.
At the site of the tragedy were several comfort dogs and mourning white crosses for the dead. The public mourning ceremony will be held tonight.
Just last week an illegal immigrant killed five of his neighbors in Cleveland, Texas. One of them was a nine-year-old kid. This already has been one hundred and eighty major murders in the first four months of the year in the United States.
We express our heartfelt condolences to those innocent victims. At the present time, all Texans live in fear. Shooting incidents can occur in schools, communities and shopping centers at any time.
Today we need to appeal to Congress. This is the time we should make our safety issue the top priority.
